This persimmon has no name yet. You will hear about it. A friend showed me that he is on sale this year.
This khaki is what we could call the Joker for bad years.
Its main characteristic is to have resisted several nights of late frost, in the beginning of flowering (with very light damage). All other persimmon varieties had been severely damaged, including viginiana.
I think it's currently the only persimmon variety that resists late frost while it's leafy. A variety that all khaki lovers should have.
In fact it is a hybrid of nishijo. I do not have fruit to show you for the moment. Just the foliage. But the size of the leaf is not to be considered.
